Subject :-local officiating promotion to STS of ITS Gr’A’-Instruction –Regarding

 

In partial modification the paragraph (e) of the memorandum of even no. dated 19/06/2000

and paragraph 3(d) of memorandum of even number dated 12/06/2001 is here by replaced with the following :

“The local officiating promotion to STS of ITS Gr’A’ shall be by the method of seniority-cum-fitness.

The Screening committee should assess the ACRs for the last five years in respect of eligible officers .

Since the promotion is by seniority-cum-fitness method ,an officer can be assessed either “fit” for promotion or “unfit”. Unless there is an adverse entry or any other factor impinging on the assessment, the officer shall be graded as “fit for promotion”

 

The other terms and condition as specified in this office memoranda dated 19/06/2000 & 12/06/2001 and as modified from time- to- time shall remain in force.
