Post creation in STS 

* Following posts of DEs created in June (upto 20.6.2002)

Andhra Pradesh .. 11 [Nizamabad-4, Nellore-2, Kurnool-1, Eluru-4]

Gujarat .. 2 [Bhavanagar-2]

 

* As decided in the meeting held by Director (HRD) with TESA on

29.05.2002 and announced by Sr DDG (Personnel) in the Special

Session of TESA held in connection with its Central Executive

Committee Meet at Mussoorie on 14.06.2002, BSNL has issued in­

struction to the field Units to send proposals for creation of

STS posts twice in a year based on the work load of 31st March

and 30th September as was being done for JAG and SAG level posts.

The proposals received would be created within three months by

BSNL Corporate Office.

 

* CGMs are likely to receive delegation of powers to create the

man month posts of DEs and Directors very shortly.

 

[1][1]FRA to the SDEs in Satellite/OFC Mtce

 

    BSNL is trying to issue the necessary orders, as committed,

extending the facility of RFA to the SDEs working in Satellite

and OFC Mtce etc.

 

*Request transfers in SDEs

 

   A request transfer order of 35 SDEs has been issued. Another

order is expected when the posting order of newly promoted JTOs

to SDEs (numbering about 550) issued sometime next month. An

order for request transfer of 18 SDEs from MTNL to different

units of BSNL has been apporoved. This is to be issued on

24.06.2002.

 

*Adhoc promotion

 

   Belated receipt of the VC has delayed the process. The result

of screening is being scrutinised. This would reach the competent

authorities after necessary corrections sometime next week.

 

*Regular DPC for promotion from TES Group B to JTS[1][1] 

 

   DPC is starting from 24.06.2002 and may continue upto

27.06.2002 as scheduled.

*Discussion with KPMG

 

   As arranged by KMPG, TESA(I) had presented its views on dif­

ferent HRD aspects to the representatives of KPMG on 20.06.2002.

Another round of discussion has been proposed.
